The night of Saturday, the 30th of June there was withdrawn temporarily from the worship the Sacred Image of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, in order to submit it to the intervention of maintenance destined to his correct conservation informed to the brothers in the General Ordinario Chapter of last November of 2011. With the mentioned action, which will be effected in the dependences basilicales under NHD’s direction Francisco Arquillo Torres, teacher of the Faculty of Fine arts of Seville for the speciality of Conservation and Restoration, will complete the development of the current program of interventions destined to the conservation and periodic maintenance of Our Sacred Holders. During the days in which the intervention develops, the Basilica will preside at the venerated Image of Ntro. padre Jesús de la Sentencia.
