D. Juan Jose Asenjo Pelegrina, Archbishop of the Diocese of Seville, presides over the role of the Virgin of Hope
On the afternoon of Sunday 18 December, Feast of the Expectation of the Virgin Mary, twenty hours, took place the solemn function that the Brotherhood dedicated to Our Lady of Hope on the occasion of the celebration of that holiday. The Holy Eucharist was presided by the Hon. and Rt. D. Juan Jose Asenjo Pelegrina, Archbishop of the Diocese of Seville, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. D. Antonio Borrego Cobos, Rector of the Basilica of Santa Maria de la Esperanza Macarena, and the Rev.. D. Pablo Casas Aljama, parochial vicar of San Gil Abad. He attended the city mayor Excmo.Sr. D. Juan Ignacio Zoido Alvarez, and also attended the celebration of the representations of the Brotherhoods of the Great Power, Students, Santa Genoveva, Pino Montano, San Pablo and the guilds that reside in the parish of San Gil.
