Chats colloquium “La Giralda: Art, literature and Holy Week”
In the night of Monday, the 20th of February it took place, in the lounge of the House Brotherhood, one chats colloquium titled ” La Giralda: Art, literature and Holy Week “, organized by the Brotherhood of the Pertaining to La Macarena one and publishing Abec on the occasion of the publication of the book ” Seville in his confraternities. Sevillian monuments represented in chattels cofradieros “, whose author is NHD Rafael Jiménez Sampedro. They intervened, besides the author, NHD. Miguel Cruz Giráldez, teacher of Hispanic Literature in the University of Seville; D. Fernando Quiles García, titular Teacher of the Area of History of the Art in the University Pablo de Olavide and D. Jose Gámez Martin, investigator and the director of publications of publishing Abec, which approached an approximation to the excellent monument of the city from his constructive process, symbolic significance, literary contemporary contributions and representation in steps and emblems of the Holy Sevillian Week. The act was presented by the Secretario de Ntra. Sra. del Santo Rosario, Fernando García Rivero.
