D. Juan del Río, Military Archbishop presided over the function of the Coronation
With the fully packed Basilica, the Brotherhood of the Macarena, held in the afternoon of May 31d, the Solemn Function dedicated to his Sacred Head, XLVIII commemorating the anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Hope Macarena. Holy Eucharist presided by HE. and Rt. Mr. NHD. Juan del Rio Martin, Archbishop Military of Spain, who in his homily stressed the need for us men to look for Hope as an end solution to the problems that life is presenting. Solemn concelebrated the Most Illustrious function D. Juan Francisco Martínez Rojas, Dean of the Cathedral of Jaen and Canon of the Cathedral of Baeza and Rev. NH. Mr. D. Antonio Borrego Cobos, Rector of the Basilica and parish priest of San Gil. At the end, after the singing of the Salve Regina, Monsignor Martin River was completed in the reception hall of the Brotherhood, by Big Brother and the Governing Board by signing the guest book of the Brotherhood.
