Function to Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza
On the morning of March 10, at midnight, took place in the Basilica of Santa Maria de la Esperanza Macarena, the function dedicated to Our Lady of Hope, which was chaired by the Rt. and HE. Mr. D. Juan Antonio Martinez Camino, Auxiliary Bishop of Madrid and Secretary of the Spanish Episcopal Conference. The Holy Eucharist was concelebrated by Hon. Mr. D. Juan Francisco Rojas Martinez, Dean of the Cathedral of Jaen and Cathedral Canon of Baeza, who preached the Septenario excellently, by Rev. Fr. Mr. D. Borrego Antonio Cobos, Rector of the Basilica of San Gil and Pastor and Rev.. Mr. D. Leonardo Sanchez Acevedo SDB, Director University College of Seville San Juan Bosco.
The beautiful and profound homily given by Bishop Martinez Camino thrilled the audience and those who witnessed the solemn function through the Brotherhood’s website or through the television signal of Mary Vision.
After the Holy Eucharist, the Auxiliary Bishop of Madrid, and the presence of the Archbishop of the Archdiocese who came after fulfilling pastoral duties in congratulating the preacher and chatted with Big Brother and the Governing Board, showing his human side and Macarenos noting that we are a little closer to God by the Virgin’s presence in our lives.
