Benediction of an Image of the Virgen de la Esperanza who will be venerated in Mongomo’s Cathedral (Equatorial Guinea)
On Tuesday, the 1st of May, during the celebration of the Sacred Eucharist that will be celebrated at 13:00, will be bendecida an Image of the Stma. Virgin who will be venerated under the dedication of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza Macarena in Mongomo’s Cathedral, city of Equatorial Guinea. The Image inspired by the Virgen de la Esperanza, is a work of the Sevillian sculptor Jose Antonio Bravo and has been donated by the Excmo. Mr Martin Ndong Nsue and the Sevillian marriage formed by don Pablo Ortiz Martin and dona Maria Auxiliadora Rodríguez-Caso Gonzalez. The Bishop of Mongomo will enthrone her in the Cathedral guineana next May 5, contributing this way to the universality of the devotion pertaining to La Macarena with the expansion of his worship for African lands.
